Pathfinders

Come join Pathfinders for 2016/2017!

What is Pathfinders? Pathfinders is a faith-based co-educational youth leadership and development program, boasting some 2 million members worldwide. The Pathfinder program provides a safe and nurturing environment where youth are able to develop and strengthen their spiritual, mental, physical and emotional skills, to participate in service to the community and to God, and to spend time in nature overcoming challenges and appreciating creation.

When is registration? Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at 6:30 pm at the Fallbrook SDA Church Fellowship Hall. It is important that parents are with their children (not a grandparent, etc) because the parents will need to sign important insurance documents. Thank you!

Who can join? Pathfinders is for youth aged 10-17.

When do Pathfinders meet? Pathfinders meet the first three Tuesdays of the month from 6:00-8:00 pm. In addition, there are campouts and backpacking trips on a few weekends during the year.

Why should you join? In short, because it is fun! Besides the camping and other outdoor activities, a big part of the Pathfinder program are the Pathfinder Honors. You will have a chance to work on many different honors that are available in eight categories: Arts Crafts & Hobbies, Nature, Recreation, Health & Science, Outdoor Industries, Vocational, Household Arts, and Outreach Ministries. In addition to the different activities and honors, you will also emerge with a strong sense of personal capability, an appreciation of working with groups, a strengthened sense of faith, service and self confidence, and a closer walk with God !
